Working schedule of preparation for participate the Sub-Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods(TDG) and the Sub-Committee of Experts on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling(GHS):
 

Since the decision of application for consultative status to TDG&GHS made on the Third Annual Conference of IFA in 2007, IFA Secretariat has begun to prepare the documents for the application. In February 2008, TDG has met with the Chinese experts in Beijing, experts attended the symposia gave support and suggestions for our application. At the end of the March IFA put the application for the consultative status formally. At the odd-come shortly, IFA has got the notice from the Secretariat of TDG&GHS that our application will discuss during this session from 30 June to 11 July 2008, Mr. Liu Donghui who is the Secretary General of IFA has been invited to participate the session at Geneva.

1          The secretariat reproduces below information received from the International Fireworks Association (IFA) requesting consultative status as a non-governmental organization for participation in the work of the Sub-Committee of Experts on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals.

2          The Sub-Committee is invited to decide whether IFA may participate in its work with a consultative status.
